GIVING SOMETHING BACK

In the UK we demonstrate our commitment to ‘Giving Something Back’ to our local communities by encouraging all our employees to take a paid day off each year to volunteer for the charity of their choice.

Working in a charity shop, training for/competing in a fund-raising charity event, staffing the telephones in your charity’s office and supporting a community project are all examples of charitable activities undertaken by our employees over the past 12 months.

In London we work with Benefacto who help match peoples’ interests with charities who want your help – it’s as easy as booking hotel! At our other offices, we encourage staff to work with charities of their choice and work with their colleagues to build relationships and make a difference to those organisations.

                                                                                                          

We regularly get involved with national fundraising events like Comic Relief, Sport Relief, Macmillian Coffee Mornings, Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day…

This year we are offering our employees the chance to get involved in two charity challenges – for the super fit we have the UK Challenge, a gruelling three-day event designed to test teams to the limit with physical and mental challenges.

For those who prefer a more sedate pace, we have the Thames Path Challenge which takes in 16 of London’s bridges in a sponsored 25km walk.

We also play an active role in helping future generations see themselves working in IT. We are a partner in the Modern Muse initiative to inspire girls (aged 8-16) to explore careers in STEM subject (science, technology, engineering and maths).

We also invite children, grandchildren and nieces/nephews of our employees to a ‘Little Boss meets the Big Boss’ day once a year (aged 7-11). The children get to come to the workplace for a day in the summer holidays and find out more about the world of work.

REWARD AND BENEFITS

We offer flexible benefits designed to give you more freedom over how you receive your T-Systems Reward package. You can select which benefits suit your needs ranging between health, wealth, protection and lifestyle.

PENSION SCHEME 

T-Systems operates a double matching group personal pension plan to help you plan and provide towards retirement. Contributions that you opt for, attract a contribution from the company.  Minimum contributions of 2.5% from employee double matched by company at 5%.

HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT

25 days annual holiday, which increases in line with employment service. At the end of each quarter, the best in class of these Manager’s Awards in each Guiding Principle will be selected to receive a Quarterly Director’s Award of £500.

PRIVATE MEDICAL INSURANCE

This benefit gives you and, if you chose, your partner and family access to private healthcare for the treatment of an eligible acute medical condition.

LIFE ASSURANCE 

You will be covered for life assurance cover at 4x salary in the event of death in service with T-Systems. You can also choose to increase your level of cover as of your flexible benefits.

GROUP INCOME PROTECTION

Group Income Protection gives you the security that if you do go off work on long-term sick you will have a percentage of your salary paid to you each month until you recover and are able to return to work.

GYM FLEX

GymFlex gives you access to a huge range of UK wide gyms, health clubs and leisure centres with a choice of membership for yourself and your partner. You will benefit from Corporate rates and NI savings on top of up to £400 or 75% employer funding towards your membership.


HEALTH ASSESSMENT 

T-Systems provides funding for all employees to have a health assessment or screening every 2 years.

COMPANY SICK PAY

In the event of absence from work due to ill-health, you will be eligible to receive Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) and Company enhanced sick pay increasing in line with service of employment with company.

CHILDCARE VOUCHERS

If you are a working parent, childcare vouchers are a flexible and cost-effective way of helping you to meet your childcare costs. The scheme not only helps to pay for the cost of your registered childcare through salary sacrifice, but the associated tax and National Insurance savings can help you with the numerous financial commitments that parents have to meet.

CYCLE 2 WORK

The Cycle 2 Work scheme can provide you with a bicycle (and/or accessories) to cycle to work, and to use in your free time, and you can save tax and National Insurance. This benefit is available to elect twice a year.
