This one! I get to be part of so many important aspects of life at Superdrug from the talent we recruit to how we help develop our people. There are so many proud moments and a great team to work with/a great business to be part of. Plus I love my job title!

I loved reading and history. At College and Uni I really enjoyed business studies, especially the HR part - people are fascinating! I didn't enjoy accounting or logistics.
I wish I had done more in terms of psychology or sociology as it's very relevant to what I do now and I find it very interesting.

Communication - I have to deal with people internal and external at all levels.
Strategic & Creative thinking - to pull together a long term plan for the function and problem solve when faced with challenges.
Great customer service - to be aware of and exceed the expectations of our internal and external customers.

An interpreter but I never did that great at languages so then I wanted to do something in "business" even though I didn't really know what!

Get some expertise outside of the HR field to broaden my commercial experience.
Learn to network better at a young age.
