I worked with the operations assurance readiness lead on a couple of projects. Including the development of a in house manning tool to help estimate the operations workforce requirement based on the facility being built. I reviewed Start-Up production forecasting to ensure there were no common reasons for failure to meet the expected production during start-up.
This was my first role at BP, I worked with the North Sea Decommissioning Lead on Miller and Valhall 2-4G Decommissioning projects. I went offshore and decommissioned the Valhall 2-4G bridge as part of this role.
I work in the Global Subsea Hardware team in BP and am assigned to a Egyptian Project. Where I project manage hardware deliveries. This role is all about project management and integration. Working with the various stakeholders to ensure the kit is deliver on time to budget, schedule and quality. This role includes the integration between technical and commercial. The kit which I am responsible for delivering goes subsea and controls the flow of oil/gas from the wellhead to shore or platform.
I am responsible for providing the North Sea region with any aftermarket deliveries from the global subsea hardware team. Aftermarket is anything which is delivered post the main project including all of the subsea tooling for my colleagues in the wells (drilling organisation). In this role I've started to manage a team. We must constantly ensure that our deliveries meet the changing needs of the rig schedule.
